Abundance of Abby was launched in 2017 during my freshman year of college so I could focus my time and energy on something challenging and creative. I was stressed by school and felt like my social media was flooded with people comparing themselves or putting others down. Simply put, I was feeling disheartened and uninspired by it all. Wanting to contribute to the internet in my own positive way, one night in my dorm room with the encouragement of some friends, an idea was uploaded.
Abundance of Abby is a fashion and lifestyle website meant to embolden and inspire, whether that’s from my personal style, adventures in growing up and navigating the “real world,” or incurable wanderlust. My goal is for every reader to leave my site feeling like they gained insight or inspiration on living their most abundant life.
So hi, I’m Abby Schuster!
I’m a current sleep-deprived college student studying to receive my bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from Grand Valley State University. Go Lakers! I transferred colleges after my freshman year and previously attended the University of Iowa where I was a member of Delta Delta Delta. At GVSU, I am a member (and the PR Manager) of Love Your Melon and a member of the American Marketing Association.
Basically, I’m just one really busy 20-something.
I’m a dog person, a shower singer, an older sister, a former competitive dancer, an avid Detroit sports fan, a cheesecake enthusiast, a t-shirt hoarder, and a musical theatre nerd.
Now that’s just the cliff notes version, but I’m excited to share my closet, my stories, and my love of the Oxford comma with you.
