Whether it’s to track your sleeping or sweet tooth habits, there’s an app for everything. It can be difficult to stay focused on your health and wellness, especially in this day and age where we place so much importance on the hustle lifestyle. Lucky for you, I’ve found some of the best health apps out there that I try to use daily.
Headspace is my most recent download. It’s a meditation and sleep app that you can customize based on your own preferences and needs. The app is tailored for the user based on your experience with mediation, what topic you’re looking to focus on (stress, motivation, anxiety, etc.), and what time of day you want to meditate. I personally set mine for 10 minutes after I wake up. Here’s hoping that it’s making me more of a morning person!
I’m absolutely terrible at keeping track of my period. Clue makes it easy by having me log different variables ranging from how my skin is, my mood, the amount of sleep I got, or if I’m actually on my period. They also have a website with articles on periods, sex, and life stages like puberty, pregnancy, and menopause. I highly recommend this app!
Under Armour is the creator behind this in-depth health and fitness app. MyFitnessPal is a virtual health journal that helps track exercise, meals, and water. While you can set a goal to lose weight, you can also work on maintaining your current weight, or putting weight on. I especially like using it to track how much water I drink. Since downloading it, I’ve been drinking almost 20 ounces more each day!
These apps have been great at holding me accountable and making sure I prioritize my own well-being. The best part? All have free versions! So not only am I bettering my health and wellness, but also my wallet!
