Off The Shoulder Seersucker

This weekend I will be traveling to the East side of the state for a baby shower, so sadly I most likely will not be able to get any posts in. But, if you know me at all, then you know that I LOVE little kids and baby showers. The baby blue and light pink color palettes, Pinterest worthy decor, delicious food, family and friends. Really what more could you ask for in a weekend?? Needless to say, I’m beyond excited.

What I’m also excited about is all of the seersucker patterns that have been popping up around every corner. Pair that with the off the shoulder trend and you know I’m all on board!! (Also, please excuse the terrible tan lines, I spent the week out side with family, and chose to wear a thick Comfort Colors tank top – not my smartest moment.)

This MoaMoa top is so cute and so comfortable. It’s very airy and I feel like I can breathe in it in the summer heat, even though it has sleeves. The little ties on the end of the 3/4 sleeves are a nice touch and make the top that much more darling. (It’s also less than $30 which makes it such a steal!)

My earrings, which you can kind of see in the photo above are rose gold studs and I’m in love with them!! They add a little sparkle to each outfit without being too much of a statement. They were a gift, so I’m not sure exactly where they’re from, but I found slightly similar ones to link below.

When putting together this outfit, I originally had it paired with two completely different pairs of shorts. One was a flowy white pair from Free People and the other was a neutral sandy color from J.Crew. I ditched the Free People pair, because all together with the loose top, it was way too much. The J.Crew pair just didn’t look like I had hoped with the top and was just one of those outfits you stare at and think, “But it looked good in my head??”

I ended up adding a bright and super fun pair of shorts into the outfit and it really changed it from cool and classic to bright and fun – perfect for summer! This pair is from Banana Republic (possibly, Factory??) and I can’t find it online anymore, so down below I will have a similar pair from J.Crew linked.

Because it was such a casual day out and about, I only carried my wallet with me. It’s from Kate Spade and I completely adore it. I got it during one of their HUGE sales this year and I’m so glad I did. It’s such a classic piece and is such high quality. This version of the wallet is not available anymore, but similar colors and styles are.

After adventuring out and about, my brother and I decided to spend the day at the beach. With his high school finals coming to an end it was the perfect way to celebrate the half day he had. I had such a relaxing time at the beach and it was nice to spend time with just my brother, my thoughts, and the lake before packing to head East again.
